HANCOCK, FRANK SR.
Frank Hancock Sr., former owner of Hancock's Medical Transportation, died
Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at the age of 55 at his home. He was a native of
Indiana and a resident of Chesbrough. He is survived by two daughters and
sons-in-law, Laura Hancock and David Atkinson and Frankie Hancock and
Shelby Brumfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank Jr. and Ruth Hancock
and John and Esther Hancock; a daughter at home, Nickie C. Hancock; and 14
grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Valarie Lynn Hancock;
parents, John and Edna Hancock; and a brother, Roger D. Hancock. Visitation
at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 1 p.m. until religious service at 
2 p.m. Wednesday.

HANCOCK, JOHN M., JR. 
Died at 4:41 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at North Oaks Medical Center in
Hammond. He was 80, a native of Alexandria and a resident of Amite.
Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2,
until religious service at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Milton Howard.
Interment in Amite Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Addie Joyce Addison
Hancock, Amite; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Aubrey Hancock and Edna
Hancock, Madison, Tenn.; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Valerie Herring
Hutchinson and Millard Hutchinson, Hammond; two grandchildren, Monica
Larkin and Donelle Rose; and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by
his father, John M. Hancock Sr.; mother, Katherine Saal Hancock; and
stepson, Donald T. Herring Jr. He was a retired welder and dairy farmer and
a member of Kitchen Creek Baptist Church, Ball. Pallbearers will be Gary
Williams, Dwayne Rose, Carey Addison III, Ronnie Brasher, Millard
Hutchinson and Raymond Addison. Honorary pallbearers are Louis Alford and
Michael Larkin.

HANCOCK, JOHN M. SR.
DIED: April 8, 1970
Amite - Religious services for John M. Hancock, Sr. were scheduled at 
11 a.m. today in McKneely Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Joe McClain
with burial in Amite Cemetery. He died at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday at his
residence in Amite.  He was 81 and a native of Ruston.  Survivors include
his wife, Mrs. Katherine Saal Hancock of Amite; one son, J.M. (Monty)
Hancock Jr. of Husser; a brother, James M. Hancock of New York, N.Y., and
one grandchild.
