He was a native of Marshall, Ark., and retired from Agrico Chemical in Florida. He was a member of Souls Harbor United Pentecostal Church. He is survived by two sons, Daniel Arlin Haggard of Walker and James Donald Haggard of Albany; three daughters, Glenda Burns and Gloria Driggers, both of Walker, and Gladys Gray of Hammond; one sister, Beulah Hawkins of Walker; one brother, Ernest Haggard of Florida; 11 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren and three step-great- great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Shelton Haggard; his parents, Jasper and Dellie Haggard; one son, David Edwin Haggard Sr.; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be today at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the Rev. Marvin Poole and the Rev. Ted Burns conduct the funeral at 1 p.m. Burial will be in New Red Oak Cemetery, Livingston. ***************************************************************************
