GILDIG, PAMELA MARY 
Pamela Mary Gildig, 60, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005, at her home in Amite.
She was born Tuesday, Aug. 14, 1945, in New Orleans. Surviving are her
husband, Douglas John Gildig Sr. of Amite; son, Douglas John Gildig Jr. of
Albany; daughter, Shannon Marie Gildig Blackman of Greensburg; sister,
Jackie Landry Stockton of Ponchatoula; granddaughter, Courtney Leigh
Blackman of Amite; two grandsons, Cody Christopher Blackman of Greensburg,
and Dawson Bridges Gildig of Albany; granddaughter, Heather Lafaye Gandolfo
of Albany; godchild, Chris Timothy Landry of French Settlement; two aunts,
Inez Abbott of Waveland, Miss., and Yvonne Ballew of Dallas. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm Joseph Stockton and Ursula Isreal
Stockton. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home,
Hammond, on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 9 a.m. until service at noon. E-mail
