Jessye Lewis Garrison, 93, passed away Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010. A native of Amite and resident of Baton Rouge, she is survived by children and their spouses, Ellen Garrison and Thomas L. Scully, of Columbia, S.C., Jane Garrison and Jeffrey R. Yates, of Baton Rouge; daughter-in-law, Lucy Aucoin Garrison, of Baton Rouge; grandchildren and their spouses, Brian and Jennifer Scully, Laura Scully Brennan, Jason Scully, Mark and Jessica Scully, Adam and Katie Yates, Lindsay Yates and Jordan Rome, and Reeves Garrison; and great-grandchildren, Tatum, London and Annabelle Scully, and Brock Brennan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Reeves Garrison Sr.; a son, Benjamin Reeves Garrison Jr.; parents, Percy James Lewis and Emma Miller Lewis; and sisters, Jackie Stockstill, Leota Dunn, Iris Davis and Carmen Kirby. Jessye was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and Victory Harvest Church. Funeral services were last Friday at Rabenhart Funeral Home in Baton Rouge. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Margaret Ann; two sons, Grover Warren and Jesse L., Jr.; her mother, Mrs. S. A. Alemon of Baton Rouge; six sisters, Mrs. S. A. Harris, Mrs. Jude Aucoin and Mrs. Emmett Brown, all of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Herbert Rousseau of Thibodaux, Mrs. Gustave Landry of Napoleonville, Mrs. John D.
