She was 55 and a native of Independence. Visiting at Martin Chapel AME Church, Independence, on Tuesday, March 9, from 11 a.m. until religious service at noon, conducted by the Rev. They were natives of Mt. Hermon. George Francis was a laborer at Kent Enterprise, and Charles Francis was disabled. Survivors include George's children, Melvin, Jessie and Diane Taylor, Osyka, Miss.; two sisters, Diane Taylor and Delores Francis, Kentwood; four brothers, Danny Francis, Mt. Hermon, Michael, Steve and David Francis, Kentwood. Visitation will be at Crain & Son Funeral Home, Franklinton, tonight from 6 to 8. The Rev.
