FORNEY, HELEN PERRY
Helen Perry Forney, 75, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, at North Oaks Medical Center, 
Hammond, from a stroke. She was a native of Velma, a former resident of New 
Orleans and a retired nurse. She is survived by one son, George Perrier of Kansas 
City; three daughters, Elise Adams of New Orleans, Cheryl Forney-Vaughn and 
Darlene Forney-Banks, both of Hammond; one brother, Herman Nelson of Hammond; one 
sister, Lucille Abram of Hammond; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be in 
Saturday at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Hammond, from 10 a.m. until the 
funeral at 11. Burial will be in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond. Majestic 
Mortuary in New Orleans is in charge.
