She was a native of Independence. She is survived by one son, Jake Ferina of Chicago; two daughters, Josephine and Leona Aguado, both of Independence; three brothers, Pete Fazzio of Chicago, Joseph Fazzio of Hammond and Frank Fazzio of Boise, Idaho; one sister, Mary Maniglia of San Jose, Calif.; five grand- children and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster Ferina; two brothers, Sam and Charlie Fazzio; and two sisters, Katie Cavataio and Josephine Rotoko. Visitation will be today at Geisler Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral at 11. She was 87 and a native of Hammond. Visitation at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Tickfaw, from 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 10:30 a.m. Monday, conducted by a Dominican priest. Interment in Colonial Cemetery, Independence. Survived by a son, Jake Ferina, Tickfaw; four grand- children, Joseph Ferina, Hammond, Rose Mary Ferina Wynn, Baton Rouge, Michael Campise, Tickfaw, and Gregory Campise, Independence; and two great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Ferina, Tickfaw, and Lindsey Ferina, Hammond.
