FANNING, ELLA COUVILLION 
A resident of Tickfaw, she died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, at her home. She
was 58, born April 20, 1946, in Marksville. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of
Pompeii Catholic Church, Tickfaw, at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the
Rev. John Restrepo, O.P. Interment in Tickfaw Catholic Cemetery. She is
survived by her husband, William Fredrick Fanning Jr., Tickfaw; a son and
daughter-in-law, William Fredrick "Trey" Fanning III and Lela Durbin
Fanning, Hammond; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Fanning Higgs and
Scott Higgs, Ponchatoula; parents, Kirby and Ila Couvillion, Tickfaw;
sister, Peggy Miller, Conroe, Texas; and brother, Fred Couvillion,
Palmetto, Ga. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a
hospice society of choice. Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, is
in charge of arrangements.
