DUPONT, CLOVIS "J.B.", SR.
A retired electrical supervisor with Dibert, Bancroft & Ross steel mill and
a resident of Prairieville, he died at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2006,
at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 78 and a native of
Rayne. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Wednesday, April 26,
from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church,
Prairieville, on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 
10:30 a.m. Entombment in Hope Haven Mausoleum, Prairieville. He is survived
by his wife, Lelia Lanclos Dupont, Prairieville; daughter and son-in-law,
Irene and Ike Carpenter, Prairieville; two sons and daughters-in-law,
Clovis Jr. and Nancy Dupont, Kenner, and Donald and Carolyn Dupont, Amite;
four sisters, Eula Vincent, Flo Landry and Nedia LaChaussee, all of
Lafayette, and Yvonne Richard, Breaux Bridge; nine grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Celine
Boudreaux Dupont; three sisters, Adele Broussard, Anita Bernard and Irene
Dupont; two brothers, Camille and Emile Dupont; and grandson, Jason Dupont.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

DUPONT, THELMA MIXON 
A resident of Ponchatoula, she died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, at Hammond
Nursing Home. She was 82 and a native of Pumpkin Center. Visitation at
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Tuesday. Visitation in the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious
service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery.
Survived by her husband, Delmas Dupont, Ponchatoula; six sons, Kenneth
Dupont, J.V. Dupont, Donald Dupont, Garyel Dupont and Mike Dupont, all of
Ponchatoula, and Wayne Dupont, Slidell; three daughters, Jo Anne Dupont
Baiamonte, Pumpkin Center, Cheryl Dupont, Ponchatoula, and Charlene Dupont
Miller, Dubach; a sister, Mattie Lee Fletcher, Ponchatoula; 16 grand-
children and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Joe
Mixon and Mattie Mixon Raiford; a granddaughter, April Dupont Strahan; and
four sisters, Elaine Raiford, Josephine Devalle, Pearl Lowder and Hester
Ciruti. She was a member of Bible Missionary Church in Ponchatoula.
