She was a native of Vacherie and a graduate of E.D. White Catholic School in Thibodaux and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a bachelor of science degree in quantitative business analysis. She was most recently the research director for Grubb & Ellis/Coldstream Real Estate Advisors, Inc. in Bedford, N.H., and a former research analyst for the Louisiana Legislative Fiscal Office in Baton Rouge. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Carey Darlington of Baton Rouge; her parents, Percy J. Legendre Jr. and Elaine Waguespack Legendre of Vacherie; two brothers, Percy Legendre III of Tampa, Fla., and Reginald Legendre of DeRidder; six sisters, Lynette L. Eliser of St. Amant, Angela L. James and Elaine L. Curley, both of Alexandria, Natalie L. Harper of Baton Rouge, Lenore L. Charlton of Bluffton, S.C., and Helen L. Bohan of Bedford, N.H.; and her paternal grandmother, Vernice Peltier Legendre of Westwego. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Francis and Cecile Schexnayder Waguespack Sr.; and her paternal grandfather, Percy J. Legendre Sr. Visitation will be today at St. Philip Catholic Church, Vacherie, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the Rev. Louis E. Sklar III conducts a mass of Christian burial at 11. Burial will be in St. Philip Mausoleum, Vacherie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and E.D. White Catholic High School Memorial Fund. H.C.
