He was 87, a native of Amite and a resident of Loranger. Visitation on Friday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, and on Saturday at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Husser, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Paul McDuffie. Vigil service will be Friday. Interment in St. Dominic Cemetery, Husser. He is survived by a son, Charles Stanley Currier, Loranger; six daughters, Sherry Currier Guillot, Pat Currier Barrilleaux, Paula Currier Nunnery and Robbie Currier Orsi, all of Loranger, Chris Currier Blunck, Mobile, Ala., and Cindy Currier Alston, Loranger; 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Josie Currier and Richard Currier, both of Amite. Rager and husband Jason, Aimee Garner and husband Richard, Mike Jeansonne and Brooke Currier; and five great-grandchildren, Alayna Garner, Alyce Garner, Avery Garner, Jessie Gay and Dillon Jeansonne.
