CRYER, LIZZIE 
Lizzie Cryer, 84, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at North Oaks Medical
Center, Hammond. She was a native of Franklinton. She is survived by two
daughters, Myra Ard of Hammond, and Evelyn James of New Orleans; two sons,
John Burris and Saul Cryer Jr., both of Hammond; one sister, Lillie
Williams of Hammond; two brothers, J.L. and Willie Earl Burris, both of
Folsom; and 24 grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday at First Bethel
Independent Methodist Church at 8 p.m. Dismissal will be Saturday at 
11 a.m. Burial will be in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Ham-mond. N.A. James
Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.
