CRAIN, DURWOOD O'NEIL 
A retired electrician and a resident of Hammond, he died Wednesday, Sept.
26, 2001, at his home. He was 69 and a native of Varnado. He was a U.S.
Marine Corps veteran of the Korean conflict. Visitation at Harry McKneely &
Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m.
Friday. Religious services in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Friday,
conducted by Dr. Rodney Taylor. Interment in Seal Cemetery, Varnado.
Survived by his wife, Ann Mydland Henkel Crain, Hammond; four daughters,
Duran Crain, Santa Monica, Calif., Tanya Barstow, San Diego, Glynis Gecs,
Las Vegas, and Charmane Momchilovich, San Diego; a son, Durwood O. Crain
II, Las Vegas; a granddaughter; and a sister, Marcell Crain Davis, Albany.
Preceded in death by his parents, H.L. and Vivian Seal Crain; and a sister,
Marjorie Crain Jelsma. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made
to Richard Murphy Hospice, Shriners Hospital or American Cancer Society.

CRAIN, EMMETT WESLEY 
Retired from Monsanto Chemical in El Dorado, Ark., he passed away on
Saturday, April 22, 2006, at North Oaks Regional Medical Center in Hammond.
He was 84, a resident of Pine Grove, formerly of El Dorado, and a U.S.
Marine Corps veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Visitation will be
at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston, on Sunday, April 23, from 5 p.m. to 
9 p.m. Visiting at Young's Funeral Home, El Dorado, on Wednesday, April 26,
from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Burial in Arlington Cemetery in El
Dorado. Survived by his wife, Marjorie Gates Crain of Pine Grove;
daughters, Sue Wright and husband Kim of Dallas, Ann Keeling and husband
Leon of Calion, Ark., Betty Housley and husband Russell of Pine Grove and
Angela Crain of Robbinsville, N.C.; grandchildren, Mary Lawson of
Spearsville, N.C., Nancy Ellenburg of Walker, Alicia Zeek of Robbinsville
and Carl and Kenneth Keeling of Calion; and three great-grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by parents, Alex and Cora May Fulfer Crain; and nine
brothers and sisters. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in El
Dorado.

CRAIN, MARSHALL "ZAP"
A resident of Franklinton, he died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at Riverside
Medical Center at age 44. Visitation at Crain & Sons Funeral Home chapel,
Bogalusa, on Wednesday, Jan. 31, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visiting at Crain &
Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton on Thursday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A.
in Franklinton at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, officiated by the Rev.
Washington E. Drake, pastor. Interment in Sweet Home Cemetery. Survived by
his father, Brisco H. Crain of Franklinton; mother, Neva B. Crain of
Franklinton; daughter, Donnisha Alexander of Kentwood; son, Roderick Toomer
of Bogalusa; two sisters, LaJuana Patrice Crain of Baton Rouge, and Ayiesha
Dueoan Crain of Franklinton; brother, David and wife Margaret Land of
Columbia, S.C.; sister-in-law, Doretha B. Crain of Franklinton; and a
special friend, Penny Moses of Angie. Preceded in death by his brother,
Stephon T. Crain. Louisiana Funeral Directors & Morticians are in charge of
arrangements.
