COTTON, ANGELA 
Tickfaw - Angela Cotton, 25, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond. Survivors include one daughter, Alvia Cotton; her
mother, Naomi Williams; two sisters, Tasha Williams, and Regina Harper;
four brothers, Brandon Williams, Reginald Harper, Michael Johnson and Peter
Gorman; and her husband, Alvin Cotton. Her father, Albert Johnson; and her
grandparents, Roy and Charlestin Williams preceded her in death. Visitation
will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond. The
Rev. Carl Coleman will conduct the funeral Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be
in Ponchatoula Cemetery.

COTTON, BOOKER T. 
New Sarpy - Booker T. Cotton died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at Ochsner
Hospital in Jefferson. He was a native of Prairieville. He is survived by
his wife, Octavia Cotton; eight sisters, Sarah C. Akling, Lacy C. Tillison,
Alma C. Ricks, Rosie Cotton, Octavia C. Doville, Mary C. Melton, Stella B.
Cotton and Lillian Lear Cotton; seven brothers, Joseph, Esau, Willie,
Oliver, Sidney, Potay Jue and Eddie Cotton. The funeral will be Wednesday
at St. Matthew Baptist Church, New Sarpy, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in
Garden of Memories, Metairie. N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond, is in
charge.

COTTON, GLENN M. 
An entrepreneur, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Amite, he died
Thursday, June 20, 2002, at his residence. He was 79 and a U.S. Army
disabled veteran of World War II. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700
Florida Blvd., from 9 a.m. until service at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by
Pastor Anthony Rice. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by
his wife, Verna Cotton of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Jennifer Wood of
California City, Calif., and Mary Elizabeth Saucier of Tulsa, Okla.; five
stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 3968 North Blvd.,
Suite 200, Baton Rouge 70806.

COTTON, RICHARD 
Amite - Richard Cotton, 37, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, at Hood Memorial
Hospital. He is survived by one daughter, Monica Cotton of Hammond; one
sister, Lillian Cotton of Hammond; two brothers, Reginald Cotton Sr. of
Amite, and Ronald Cotton of Independence; his mother, Dorothy Cotton of
Amite; his grandmother, Ann Brown of Chicago; and his grandfather, Wade
Brown of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his father, Reginald Cotton
Sr.; his grandmother, Edwina Brown; and his great-grandmother, Naomi
Jackson. Visitation will be today at Richardson Funeral Home, Amite, from 
5 to 9 p.m. Daniel Muse will conduct the funeral Friday at 11 a.m. at
Community COGIC, Amite. Burial will be in Butler's Cemetery, Amite.
