He was 72, a native of Hiles, Wis., and raised in Presque Isle, Wis. He was a veteran of World War II. He will be cremated and his remains returned to northern Wisconsin. Survived by four sons, Joseph E. Conway, Rodger D. Conway, Ralph E. Conway and Victor A. Conway Jr.; two daughters, Sara Lee Conway and Terry Jo Conway; three brothers, William Joseph Conway, Silver Bay, Minn., Gerry L. Conway, Amite, and Ralph Conway, Waukeegan, Ill.; two sisters, Erma "Dolly" Barron, Ironwood, Mich., and Joelynn Alson, Weeppi, Idaho; and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Preceded in death by father, Joseph H. Conway; mother, Flora Brewer Conway; and three sisters, Virginia Tuttle, Marion Schmidlin and Grace Negretti. ***************************************************************************
