COMEAUX, DOROTHY MELE
Dorothy Mele Comeaux, 86, of Hammond, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, in 
Baton Rouge. She was born Saturday, Jan. 24, 1925, in Hammond. Surviving 
are son and daughter-in-law, Howard Comeaux Jr. and Pat Comeaux; son, 
Eugene "Gene" Comeaux; son, Lindsey Comeaux; ex daughter-in-law, Debby 
Comeaux; grandchildren, Dodi Lobell, Scott, Lori and Renee Comeaux, Lindsey 
Underhill and Taylor Comeaux; and brother, Joe Mele. She was preceded in 
death by her husband, Howard Joseph Comeaux Sr.; parents, Vito Mele and 
Margaret Dileberta Mele; sister, Celie Colona; sister, Frances Bordelon; 
and brothers, Vince, Tony and Pete Mele. Friends will be received at the 
chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Sunday, May 29, 
from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond on 
Monday from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Interment in the Rose Memorial

COMEAUX, EDNA BLANCHARD 
A resident of Plaquemine, she died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, at
River West Medical Center, Plaquemine. She was 66 and a native of
Ponchatoula. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, 8 a.m. Wednesday
until Rite of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Stephen
Hymel. Interment in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, Brusly.
Survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Ida Nell Begnaud, Henderson,
Jo Ann and Bill Coots, Baton Rouge, and Tina Patterson, Magnolia, Ark.; two
sons and a daughter-in-law, Floyd Comeaux, Plaquemine, Gussie and Patsy
Landry Comeaux, San Angelo, Texas; a sister, Grace LeBlanc, Addis; two
brothers, Nicholas and Joseph Blanchard, both of Plaquemine; six grand-
children and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband,
Jervey Comeaux Jr.; a daughter, Judy Comeaux; three sisters, Marie, Maude
and Eva Blanchard; and a son-in-law, Mervin Begnaud.

COMEAUX, JEANETTE R. 
Morganza - Jeanette R. Comeaux, 74, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000, at Our Lady
of the Lake Medical Center. She was a native of La Barre. Survivors include
two sons, Michael Comeaux, Ventress, Ronald Comeaux, New Roads; three
sisters, Lydia Beatty, Hammond, Betty Pogue, Covington, and Gracie Marino,
Morganza; two brothers, Lloyd Ramagos, Baton Rouge, and Leslie Paul
Ramagos, Jarreau; and three grandchildren. Her husband, Ivy Comeaux; son,
Gary Comeaux; four brothers, Welman, Wilbur, Irwin and Shelby Ramagos,
preceded her in death. Visitation will be at Niland's Funeral Home, New
Roads, Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. The Rev. Michael Schatzle will
conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, and burial will
be in False River Memorial Park.

COMEAUX, NED JAMES
Ned James Comeaux, 83, of Ponchatoula, died Monday, January 28, 2008 at his
residence.  He was born on July 26, 1924 in West Baton Rouge Parish, son of
the late Myrthe Heloise Theresa Boudreaux and Victorin Lucas Comeaux.  Mr.
Comeaux a financial administrator was retired from CIT Group, and was a
World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army.  Surviving are his wife of 57 years,
Hubertina Prevost Comeaux; 4 sons, Adrian Comeaux, Jack Charles Comeaux,
Rene Clements Comeaux, Paul Thomas Comeaux; 2 daughters, Diane Marie
Comeaux Brehm and Michele Marie Comeaux Berthelot; 1 sister, Maryann
Comeaux Carpenter; 17 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.  He is
preceded in death by ; 2 brothers, Harold John and Aaron Comeaux, and 2
sisters, Sydney Marie Greer and Rita Belle Lyall.  Friends will be received
at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula on Thursday, January 31, 2008
from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection.  Interment will
