She passed away Sunday morning, May 15, 2011, at her residence in Wills Point. Judy was born July 9, 1951, in Algiers, Louisiana, the daughter of Nolan Boudreaux, Sr. and Jewell Dean Price Boudreaux. She was raised in Algiers and graduated from Behrman High School in 1969. On August 22, 1970, she married Don Burnett in Louisiana. Together they made their home in Wills Point. Judy was employed by Wal-Mart in Terrell and later American National Bank in Terrell, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed making ceramics, crocheting, canning, gardening and collecting Elvis memorabilia. Judy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wills Point. Preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Paul Boudreaux, Billy Rodriguez, Hanky Boudreaux and Edwin Bebo Shafer; sister, Mable Boudreaux and father-in-law, Raymond Burnett. Judy is survived by her husband, Don Burnett, of Wills Point; daughter, Nancy Morris & husband, Jamie, of Wills Point; brother, Nolan Boudreaux, Jr. & wife, Judy, of Guthrie, Oklahoma; sister, Martha Branch & husband, Robert, of Kentwood, Louisiana; mother-in-law, Betty Burnett, of Wills Point; God child, Martha Ann Hagan, of Albany, Louisiana; aunt, Helen Ockman, of Amite, Louisiana; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. *************************************************************************** File at: http://files.usgwarchives.org/la/tangipahoa/obits/obitssur/burnett.txt
