She was 84. Visitation at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Clinton, on Friday, April 21, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., the Rev. Bob Townsend officiating. Interment in Masonic Cemetery, Clinton. She is survived by a daughter, Connie Watkins of Greenwell Springs; a son, Adam A. Berger Jr. and wife Molly of Ethel; sister, Mary Irene Wagner of Hammond; four grandchildren, Cheryl Watkins, Adam Berger III, Elizabeth Berger Merculief and Matthew Berger; and five great-grandchildren, Alexis and Evan Merculief, and Haley, Schuyler and Avery Berger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam A. Berger; parents, Raymond and Bertha Overmier; two brothers, Harvey and Clarence Overmier; and sister, Hazel Neuenschwander.
