BARRILLEAUX, FAYE ANN 
A longtime resident of Denham Springs, she died at 2:12 p.m. Thursday, 
Oct. 26, 2000. She was 52. Visiting at Geisler Funeral Home, Albany, from 
8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday, followed by graveside services at the family
cemetery in Robert, La. Survived by her husband, Charles R. Barrilleaux;
children, Marilyn M. Skipper, Ward J. Madison Sr., Edward W. Madison and
Sam A. Madison; mother, Vivian L. Shirey; 20 grandchildren; three brothers,
William J. Shirey, John F. Shirey and Earl J. Shirey; and four sisters,
Alice Silas, Earline Johnson, Doris Ann Conerly and Carolyn L. Shirey.
Preceded in death by her father, Earl Jasper Shirey; two sisters, Ollie
Jane Shirey and Elizabeth M. Morris; grandmother, Ollie Shirey; grand-
father, John Franklin Shirey; a niece, Melissa Anderson; and a nephew,
Jason Shirey. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of
Denham Springs.

BARRILLEAUX, CAPT. WILLIE B. "RUSTY" 
A resident of Independence, he died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at North Oaks 
Medical Center, Hammond, of complications from major surgery. Capt. Barrilleaux, 
82, was a retired riverboat captain, with 50 years of service. He was an avid 
fisherman and sportsman. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. 
to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until religious 
service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Robert Clay Barrilleaux. 
Interment in Arcola-Roseland Cemetery, Arcola. Survived by three sons, Clay J. 
Barrilleaux, Holden, Robert G. Barrilleaux, Roseland, and James R. Barrilleaux, 
Hammond; 11 grandchildren, Laura Green, Pamela Schulze, Amy Barrilleaux, Melinda 
Giardina, Rusty Barrilleaux, Robert Clay Barrilleaux, Justin Barrilleaux, Blake 
Barrilleaux, Dudly Downing, Blair Edwards and David West; nine great-grand-
children; and a sister, Mildred Hanks. Preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Clay J. Barrilleaux; three brothers and two sisters.
