Tombstones Found

There is a small cemetery situated on the island across Bayou Teche (directly
behind Cameron Iron Works on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista, La.)  Mrs. Miriam
Dupont crossed the Teche and was able to get the following information off some
of the tombstones that could still be read:

Born in Norfolks County, Va.
Jan. 31, 1829; died in the Parish of Assumption, La. July 8, 1852
