Melancon, Sr.; sister of Joseph, Leonard, Roland, Percy, Gregory, and Arnold Melancon all of Convent, La. SM3 Louis P. Melancon, U.S. Navy, FP4 Charles Melancon, U.S. Army; daughter-in-law of Mrs. Lorraine Harris of New Orleans, La.; granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Coleman and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Melancon, survived by a host of aunts, nieces, nephews and other relatives; aged 25 years. Relative and friends of the family, also president, officers and members of P.B.A. Society, Bob-a-Link Club, Employees of Transportation Equipment Co., Welham and Lord Co., Illinois Central Railroad Co., faculty and student body of Central and Romeville High, St. Michael School, the C.C. Hunters Club, United Fidelity Insurance Co., of Baton Rouge and New Orleans, are invited to attend the funeral services from St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Convent, La, on Friday, May 17, 1968 at 11 o’clock a.m. Father Bolduc officiating.Interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Convent, LA.
