LOIS MARINE HENDRIX BEARD

West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Lois Marine Hendrix Beard, 94, of West Monroe will be 
held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday. December 17, 2008 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 
West Monroe with Rev. Rick McPhearson and Rev. Danny Chance officiating. 
Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Beard was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She is preceded in death 
by her husband, Terrell P. Beard; daughter, Janice A. Beard; and seven 
brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Beard McManus and husband Donnie R. 
and their children, Randy McManus and wife Beverly and children, Quincy and 
Lacy; Judy McManus Barnes and husband Bobby and children, Courtney Silmon and 
fiancé Jamie Parrott and son Ethan Parrott; and B.J. Barnes; and Michelle 
McManus Dycus and husband Dub; son, Benny T. Beard and wife Janice A. and 
their children, Rhonda Beard Walker and husband Keith and children Garrett and 
Morgan; Prentice "Buster" L. Beard and daughter, Madi Beard; and Amanda K. 
Beard; brother, Albert "Buck" Hendrix; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dub Dycus, Buster Beard, Keith Walker, Danny Gaston, Bobby 
Barnes, and Quincy McManus.

Visitation will be from 5:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Mt. Vernon Baptist 
Church, West Monroe.
