Be it Remembered, That on this day to wit: the FOURTEENTH of July 
in the year of our LOrd, One Thousand, Nine Hundred and THIRTY and 
the One Hundred and 55 of the Inedpendance of the United States of 
America, before me, WM. H> ROBIN, M.D., Chairman of the Board of 
Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriages, in 
and for the Parish of Orleans, and the City of New Orleans, personally 
appeared 

J. Kelly. an undertaker antive of this city residing at no 527 Ely 
Fields Ave. who hereby declares that 

		EDWARD S. CARRERAS. (WHITE) 

departed this life YESTERDAY. (13TH of July 1930) AT THE MERCY HOSPITAL 
IN THIS CITY. RESIDED AT NO 3149 URQUHART ST. Cause of Death HEAT EXAUSTION; 
SHOCK WITH ODEMA OF BRAIN. Certificate of Dr. E. CHAVEZ. DECEASED WAS MARRIED 
TO ELIZABETH HOPPER; AND A DISTILLER; AND THE SON OF FRANK J. CARRERAS; AND 
MARY SEIBERT; BOTH NATIVES OF LA. Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence 
of the aforesaid J. KELLY. as also in that of P.H. Lanauze and W.J. Prudhomme 
both of this city, witnesses requested so to be, who have hereto set their 
hands together with me, after reading hereof this day, month and year above written.
