Drewett, a married man whose wife was Miss Emma C. Boddie and is now living having been married once only resident of LaSalle Parish, has sold, granted, bargained, conveyed and delivered and by these presents do sell, bargain, grant, convey and deliver with full guaranty of title and complete transfer and subrogation of all rights and action of warranty against all former proprietors of the property presently conveyed unto Mrs. Vena Roberts, wife of J.W. Roberts, who was Miss Vena Powers before marriage, resident of LaSalle Parish, La, the following described real estate situated in the parish of LaSalle, State of Louisiana, to wit: The West portion of Lot No one (1) in Block No. Two (2) of the town of Jena as per Plat of said town on file in the Recorders office of LaSalle Parish, less those portions formerly sold to W.P. Robison and the said Vendee herein off of the East End of said lot, together with all rights, ways, privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging or appertaining. To have and to hold, the said property unto said purchaser, Mrs. Vena Roberts and unto her heirs, successors and assigns forever. This sale is made for and in consideration of the sum of $150.00, One Hundred and Fifty Dollars cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledge and a full acquittance and receipt are hereby granted and given therefor. In testimony whereof, the said vendor has signed these presents on this the 29th day of March A.D. 1915, in the Parish of LaSalle in the presence of two competent witnesses who subscribe hereto opposite the signature of the vendor. Parker STATE OF LOUISIANA PARISH OF LASALLE Be it known that on this the 29th day of March A.D. 1915, before me, the undersigned authority, personally came and appeared, T.J. Drewett to me well known to be the person described in and who executed the foregoing deed and who declared unto me, in the present of the two undersigned competent witnesses, that he signed the above and foregoing act of conveyance for the purposes and considerations therein stated.
