That during the marriage of himself to the decd. wife, Margueritte Mollere, Mrs. Margueritte Perodeau, mother of his wife, died and the liquidation was made of that left by her, before Raphael Croquer, then Comdt. of same District. That from his marriage with M. Mollere, there were four children: Celeste, Maxent, Alexandrine and Henriette Maxent. That the four children of the 1st marriage are majors, and that the four others of the 2nd marriage are minors. That he desires an inventory be made of property dependent on the community and sucn. of decd. wife, Margueritte Mollere. Order by P. Belly to have inventory made. Date: Oct. 18, 1805 Inventory The present mortuary plantation is divided in two equal portions by the undersigned interested parties. In consequence is estimated. A tract of five arpents one toise and a half of front on the river by forty of depth, situated in this County on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded on the upper part by the plantation of Mr. Jean Bte Lorrie and below by that remaining of the present plantation, which belongs to the succession for having been purchased of Mrs. Watts by act passed before Mr. Pedesclaux, Notary Public of New Orleans, about seven years ago, estimated ** The remainder of the said present plantation situated in this District on the right bank of the Mississippi river bounded above by the land estimated herein above and below by the plantation of Phillippe Roth composed of five arpents one toise and a half of front, or thereabout, on forty arpents of depth with the half of the opening or fan, the buildings, enclosures in very bad condition which exist thereon, as also the new carpenter's work badly worked and constructed, the fences which exist on the said land; in a word such as the whole is composed and contains; which belongs to the community for having been purchased as the land estimated hereinabove of Mrs. Watts by act passed before Pierre Pedesclaux, Notary Public of New Orleans about seven years ago; estimated ** and afterwards the interested parties, decide to sell the property after deliberation. The remainders of the said present plantation situated in this District on the right bank of the Mississippi river, bounded above by the land which had just been adjudicated to Joseph and Pierre LaCroix and below by the plantation of Phillippi Roth, composed of five arpents one toise and a half of front on the said river by forty of depth, with the half of the opening or fan; the buildings, enclosures in very bad condition which exist thereon as also the new carpenter work badly worked and constructed; in a word, such as it comprises and contains which belongs to the community for having been purchased with the land sold hereinabove, of Mrs. Watts by act passed before Mr. Pierre Pedesclaux, Notary of New Orleans, about seven years ago.
