Madden Robert Walker ********************************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 5, 1970 Submitted Feb. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd A. G. Madden Funeral services for A. G. Madden, 74, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Floyd Hawthorne and J. A. Hawthorne officiating. Burial was in Ogden Cemetery. Mr. Madden, organizer of the First United Pentecostal Church died in a Monroe hospital Monday afternoon after a long illness. He was a native of Winnsboro. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Madden of Winnsboro; one son, L. F. Madden, of Houston, Tex.; one brother, J. Y. Madden of Lufkin, Tex.; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leo Nichols, Mason Hawthorne, Sim Welch, Edward Welch, W. E. Young and Charles Winborne. *********************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 5, 1970 Submitted Feb. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Robert Walker Robert Henderson Walker, 92, of Winnsboro, died at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday at King's Guest Home following a long illness. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of First National Funeral Home with the Revs. Perry Kent, Andrew Taylor, Boyette Bradford, and James Folds officiating. Burial was in Ogden Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Oma Whatley, Mrs. Pearl Simmons and Mrs. Mearle Coco, all of Winnsboro; two sons, Randall A. Walker Sr. and Ted T. Walker, both of Winnsboro; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Grandsons served as pallbearers. ****************************************************************
