This ia a picture of Germain(Jeremiah)Duplissey taken in 1890's. He was born in
1819 in Avoyelles Parish,Louisiana.He moved to Natchitoches Parish when he was
about three years old.He grew up here and raised his family in Natchitoches
Parish. He was married to Rachel Franks,daughter of Joseph Franks of this
parish. In late 1870's he moved to Evangeline Parish. He lived in north part of
parish,east of Cocodrie Lake.
