Scott, Parish Judge. Polly Ingram of E. F. P., a minor over 12 years, choses Beverly Dunn as curator, and John Gayle as curator ad litem. Members of the family meeting: Daniel Cleveland, Benjamin J. Cleveland, Matthew Edwards, Patsey Gayle, Maryann Gayle, "all relations of said minor", and John S. Gayle, curator. Purpose of family meeting is to approve bond given by Beverly Dunn, principle, and John Croft, security, which is judged "good and sufficient". Date: 19 December 1825. Witnesses, Lemuel P. Scott, P.J., states that Dunn was appointed curator for Polly Ingram, a minor, giving John Croft as security. Dunn asks that Croft be released from his obligation, at Croft's request. That she is now in the Parish aforesaid without any person to take charge of her property. Wherefore your petitioner prays that Beverly Dunn of Said Parish be appointed her curator ad bona and that John S. Gayle be appointed her curator ad Litem and that such other [one word?] proceedings be had as justice and law may require and that a family meeting be called to approve of the bond to be given by the said curator ad Bona.
