BEN F. SEWELL

   Homer--Funeral services for Ben F. Sewell, 84, of Athens, will be held
at 2 p.m. today in the Cross Roads Methodist Church with the Rev. B. P.
Burbin, the Rev. Beverly Bond and the Rev. V. L. Westbrook officiating.
   Burial will be in Hurricane Cemetery under the direction of Davidson
Funeral Home of Homer.
    Mr. Sewell died Monday in a Shreveport clinic.
    Survivors include his widow; three sons, D. S. Sewell and Carlton
Sewell, both of Shreveport, and Benny Sewell of Homer; seven daughters,
Mrs. Louis Morrison of Athens, Mrs. Betty Webb of Haughton, Miss Judy
Sewell of Athens, Mrs. Brittie Wenchester, and Mrs. Audie Lee  and Mrs.
Claudia Lanier  and Mrs. Lula Bridges, all of Shreveport; one sister,
Mrs. Clara Dobbs of Goodwater, Tex.; a brother, Billy Lee of Wetumka,
Ala.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
