Mims please to issue marriage license for Julet Taylor and John Stare. ____ Stare being of lawful age and oblige etc. given under our hand this 5th Day of January 1839. Jesse(hisxmark)Taylor Frances(herxmark)Taylor John Stare Attest: John Deskins Samuel Stare --------------------------------------------------------------------- Know all men by these presents that we, John Stare & John Deskins are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the sum of fifty pounds good and lawfull money of kentucky for the true payment thereof bind ourselves and each of heirs Executors & Administrators firmly jointly & severely Sealed with our seals and dated this 7th day of January of 1839. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage shortly intended to be had and solomized between John Stare & Julet Taylor if therefore there shall be no lawfull cause to obstruct said marriage then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue in law.
