Neva Delayne Mitchell Blackburn, 48, of Pikeville, died Wednesday, 
Sept., 27, 2006, at her home.

She was born in Pike County, July 13, 1958, a daughter of Billy Grover 
Mitchell of Little Creek and the late Mable Hall Mitchell.

She was a homemaker.

Besides her father, she is survived by one son, Randal Scott Mitchell 
of Pikeville; one brother, Jimmy Franklin Mitchell of Nashville, Tenn.; and 
two sisters, Flora Ann Lay of Virgie.

Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, Sept. 29, in the Thacker Funeral 
Home Chapel with Terry Bartley and Bruce Mullins of the Long Fork Assembly 
of God, officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Chloe Road. 
Arrangements are under direction of Thacker Funeral Home of Pikeville.
