She was the daughter of Hiram and Ella Stanfill. She was united in marriage to Harold Baird and to this union were born three children: one daughter Carla Dean Baird; and two sons, Tony Baird and Robert Dale Baird. Survivors: Husband and children, father and mother, two brothers, Clayton and Vernon Stanfill; two sisters, Bernice and Madge. She professed a hope in Christ and joined the Stanfield Baptist Church and remained a faithful member until death. Eunice was a wonderful mother and wife and always had her children at heart and a friend to all who knew her never wavering from that great love which was planted in her heart. That love of God which made her shout the praises of God. Her favorite song was "We Are Drinking from the Fountain". The family, the church and her great host of friends have sustained a great loss by her death but my her profession of faith in Christ we feel that she has only left a world of sorrow and pain and gone on to be forever with the Lord. Where death comes no more. We feel our loss is her eternal gain in glory. Her funeral service was conducted from Pleasant Run Church by Rev. R.L. Gibson and Rev. Dan Daugherty. Burial in church cemetery. Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord.
