Taulbee of Malone, KY, died Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at his residence, at the age of 99 years, 6 months, and 6 days. He was born on Friday, April 19, 1907, in Magoffin County, KY, son of the late Frank and Martellie Bach Taulbee. S.A. served his country during World War II, in the United States Army. He attended Broadway Church of God and was a 60 year member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge # 655. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Gay Lewis Taulbee; one sister, Meadie Litteral; and five brothers, Willie Taulbee, Wilgus Taulbee, Lonnie Taulbee, Kelly Taulbee, and Jesse Taulbee. He is survived by one son, Eric Lewis Taulbee and wife Linda of Deltona, FL; four grandchildren, Amber Thompson of Las Vegas, NV, Alyson Madsen also of Las Vegas, NV, Tanny Retz of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Tonya Reed of Sebastian, FL; five great grandchildren, Cole Thompson, Gavin Thompson, Isabella Madsen, Caleb DeRosa, and Nichole DeRosa; one brother, Dennie Taulbee and wife Alene of Cincinnati, OH; and two sisters-in-law, Daryl Beverly Whitt of Malone, KY and Hilda and Herb Mueller of Beaver Creek, OH and daughter, Beverly. S.A. was a humble gentleman who enjoyed God's blessings. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 29, 2006 at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jesse Rogers and Bro. Kenneth DeHaven officiating. Burial in the Lewis Family Cemetery, Malone, KY, with the Morgan County D.A.V. conducting Military Rites. Visitation 6:00 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the Potter Funeral Home with Masonic Services conducted at 7:00 p.m. by Greenville Masonic Lodge # 655. Potter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers: Wesley Turnbo, Phillip Lawson, Denzil Robinson, Mike Gevedon, Homer Gevedon, Russell Collinsworth, and Cortis Buck Profitt.
