Anthony Wayne Perkins
Died: Friday, October 17, 2003
Age: 22

Anthony Wayne Perkins, 22, of Salyersville, died Friday, Oct. 17, 
at Three Rivers Medical Center, Louisa.

Born March 5, 1981, in Lexington, he was a son of Gregory 
Lynn Perkins and Cammie Mitchell. He was a laborer with the coal 
industry and a member of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Rose Farris. 

Additional survivors include six brothers, Ben Perkins, Ryan Perkins, 
Brent Perkins, and Nathan Perkins, all of Salyersville, and Robert 
Mitchell and Charles Mitchell, both of Allen; three sisters, Ashley 
Arnett, Whitney Perkins, and Brittany Perkins, all of Salyersville; 
and stepmother, Tonya Perkins.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Magoffin County Funeral 
Home Chapel, with Revs. William Paul Perkins and Demmie Marshall 
officiating. Burial was in Perkins Family Cemetery, Rockhouse, under 
direction of Magoffin County Funeral Home.
