Born May 25, 1926, in Mount Hope, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Lorene Brown Terrell. She was the widow of Robert Gahlinger. She was a Baptist. Survivors include: a son, Anthony DeLosh of Louisville; three daughters, Bonnie Wommer of Brandenburg, Lois Marsh of Redding, Calif., and Carolyn Welch of Mount Washington; a brother, Dawson Terrell of Hustonville; five sisters, Mary Fox of Fern Creek, Jean Southerland of Jeffersontown, Dolly Helm of Louisville, Mildred Gill of Indiana and Carlene Luster of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great- great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. David Smith. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery. Salyers, 64, of Junction City died Monday at his home. Born July 6, 1937, in Casey County, he was the son of Vencil and Margie Crockett Salyers. He was a self-employed carpenter. Survivors include three daughters, Teresa Brown and Lisa Emerson, both of Somerset, and Tammy Goodpaster of Stanford; a sister, Geneva Stanford of Liberty; a brother, Curtis Saylers of Ohio; and three grandchildren. Born Nov. 20, 1917, in Frankfort, he was the son of the late Guy Franklin and Charlotte A. Mastin Vansant. He was a former salesman for Ades Lexington Dry Goods Co. and owner of the former Gazebo Gift Shop in Danville. He served as a captain in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was a member of Central Christian Church in Lexington. He was a graduate of Frankfort High School and a 1938 graduate of Centre College, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He was a former member of Danville Rotary Club, Harrodsburg Historical Society, and board member of the Ragged Edge Theatre in Harrodsburg. Survivors include his wife, Anne Tilden Bohon Vansant; a daughter, Katherine Vansant Bates of Ridgewood, N.J., and a grandson. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Carol Rawls. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Zanone, 99, of Franklin, Tenn., formerly of Danville, died Thursday at H.C. Healthcare in Franklin, Tenn. Born Aug. 25, 1902, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Myrtle Johnson Ellis. She was the widow of Dean Zanone and was preceded in death by a son, Dean Zanone Jr., and a daughter, Iva Jean Shannon. She was a charter member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church where she was a choir member and former Sunday school teacher. Survivors include a sister, Fannie Guthrie of Danville; a brother, Carl Coleman Ellis of Louisville; three grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Farmer and Kyle Hite. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. She died Thursday at her home. Born April 22, 1975, in Seoul, Korea, she was the daughter of Dale and Shan Kihlman. She was a visual design coordinator for JCPenney. She was a 1993 graduate of Boyle County High School where she was a member of the marching band, student council and several other school clubs. She played piano and saxophone and had been a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. She was a 1998 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and a member of Alpha Omega Pi sorority. She also was a member of The Presbyterian Church where she was a youth group leader and Sunday school teacher. Other survivors include her brother, Nicholas D. Kihlman of Minnetonka, Minn.; her fiancé, Uriah J. Warren of Lexington; and grandparents, E.M. and Kay Kihlman of Minnetonka. Pallbearers will be Scott and Mark Berggren, Chris Williams, Daniel Cleveland, Rankin Fraser, Matt Ochs, Tim Gavin and Donnie Donselman. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at the church. Born Jan. 9, 1943, in Gravel Switch, he was a son of Anna Coyle Penn of Gravel Switch and the late Miles Penn. He was a retired teacher for the Boyle County school system, where he taught at Junction City Elementary, Boyle County Middle and Boyle County High schools. He most recently was employed by the University of Kentucky as a specialty products inspector, and he was a lifelong farmer in Forkland. Additional survivors include his wife, Murline Wesley Penn; a daughter, Tiffany Penn Russell of Danville; two songs, Miles Tolen Penn of Lexington and Trenton Blake Penn of Danville; and two grandchildren.
