Welsh Mr. Earl C. EDWARDS, age 90. of Taylorsville, died Wednesday, March 17, 1999 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Lawrenceburg. He was a retired Spencer County farmer and a member of the Taylorsville Masonic Lodge No. 210 for 60 years. Survivors include one daughter, Darlene TERRELL of Willisburg; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home, Taylorsville, with interment in Valley Cemetery. Foremen Funeral Home, Jeffersontown, was in charge of arrangements. ===================================================== Mrs. Eliza GOODLETT, 91, of New Albany, Ind., died Friday, March 19, 1999, at the Rolling Hills Nursing Home in New Albany. She is survived by nine children: Alice GEBHARD and Omie Kathryn GOODLETT, both of New Albany; Lonnie I. ATCHER, Ernest Lee ATCHER, Jesse Cecil GOODLETT, Hollie GOODLETT, Rozella WALDRIDGE, all of Taylorsville, Ky.; David W. GOODLETT of Louisville and Beulah Mae GOODLETT of Chaplin, Ky. Other survivors include two brothers, Clyde CURTSINGER of Bardstown, Ky. and Raymond CURTSINGER of Mt. Washington, Ky.; 42 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, March 22, at 2 p.m. at the Greenwell-Jenkins Funeral home in Taylorsville. Interment in Bethlehem Cemetery. ==================================================== Margaret "Peggy" BELCHER, 70, of Rockville, Md., died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at her home. She was the former Peggy SPALDING, a native of Bardstown, and the daughter of Arch and Edna SPALDING. Survivors include her husband, Tom BELCHER; four children, Marie, Thomas, Mark and Gennie, all of Maryland; 10 grandchildren; four sisters, Sr. Cordelia SPALDING of Owensboro, Elizabeth BOWLING and Lucy SIMPSON, both of Bardstown and Emily SPALDING of Arizona and a brother, Leo SPALDING of Cox's Creek. Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at 11 a.m. in Silver Springs, Md. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to Susan B. She was the former Martha BELL, a native of Nelson County, a retired cashier for Kroger Co., and a member of Southeast Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. SORRELL Jr.; and her parents, Joe C. and Ruth Jones BELL. Survivors include, a daughter, Nina GRUBER of Williamsburg, Va., two sons, Joseph SORRELL III and Andy SORRELL; a brother, Joe BELL; five sisters, Ann ADAMS, Ruth WIGGINTON, Betsy BELL, Caroline HALL and Mary SORRELL; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of Louisville. Funeral services were on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at 11 a.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville. Entombment was at Resthaven Mausoleum. Highlands Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
