Mary Ann with her family, taken about 1900.   

Back row standing, from left to right:  William Henry Quick (1860-1927), 
married Sarah Appletrad; Anna E. Lynch (1877-1939), married Charles Oliver 
Smith; Nathaniel George Lynch (1867-1920), married Sarah F. Wood; Charles 
Thomas Lynch (1878-1962), married Susan Tressin; James G. Lynch Jr. (1869-
1967), married Jessie T. Allen.  

Front row sitting, from left to right:  father James G. Lynch Sr. (1844-1928); 
George Richard Quick (1857-1933), married Mary Louise Drown; mother Mary Ann 
Hamilton (1834-1915).  

Additional Comments:
This photo measure about 10 x 12 and is in wonderful shape for being over 100 
years old. Mary Ann's son James stored the photo in a large, covered box with 
other family photos.  When he died, it was given to his daughter, my 
grandmother, Elsie Lynch Stockham.  

Mary Ann Hamilton, daughter of Reuben and Sarah (Ferguson) Hamilton, married 
David Nelson Quick in 1857.  They had two sons, George and William Quick, 
before David died in the Civil War. Mary Ann then married James G. Lynch.  Mary 
and James had children Anna, Nathaniel, Charles and James Jr.
