The Journal Free Press, Osage County, Wednesday, October 2, 1946 September 23, 1946
Mr. and Mrs. Joe SMYTHE of Lebo, announce the birth of a girl, born Monday,
September 23, to whom they have given the name of Esther Fern. The child weighed
six and three-fourths pounds at birth.
Mrs. Sam Smythe of Osage City is assisting in the care of her granddaughter and
daughter.
