Henning Witt (Henry White)
Henning WITT was born in Hamburg, Germany, October 19, 1878. He came to America
in 1903 and lived in Jefferson and Leavenworth counties in Kansas until 1926
when he moved to Iowa, Harlan County, where he lived until his death on Mar. 15,
1962.
He was probably confirmed in the State, or Lutheran Church of Germany.
His survivors are five cousins; Robert G. WHITE and Plinny F. WHITE, both of
Lawrence; Lottie THOMPSON of Oskaloosa; John A. WHITE of McLouth and Sylvanus
WHITE of Tonganoxie.
The service was held in the McLouth E.U.B. Church Sunday afternoon with Rev.
John GILBERT conducting the service and the Bradford Funeral Home in charge.
Interment was at McLouth Cemetery.
