LEONARD E. TIETZ’S FATHER DIED TUESDAY 

A note from Leonard E. Tietz, received today, conveys the information that his 
father died at Corning, Kans., Tuesday afternoon. The funeral services will be 
held Thursday afternoon. The elder Tietz was taken suddenly sick last Saturday 
and Mr. and Mrs. Tietz and children went from here at once to Corning, and were 
with him at the time of his death. Details of the illness have not been 
received.
