Marion Newspapers, Grant County, Indiana 05/25/1900 - Jacob MINNICK, age 70, lived in Richland Twp. Born 9 Aug 1829 in Rockingham Co., Virginia. son of William and Nancy MINNICK. Married 6 May 1852 to Sarah G. LAWSHE. Funeral at German Baptist Church. Burial Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Grant County Commissioner 1866-1871. Survivors: wife, 4 sons, 2 daughters, 2 brothers and 1 sister. 03/30/1909 - William Morris TELFER, an aged and well known man of Jonesboro, died at his home at 10 o’clock Sunday morning. Death was due to blood poison, which developed from a wound in the foot that was caused by a piece of glass. Mr. TELFER was an employee of the U.S. glass factory and had run a piece of glass in his foot about two years ago and it recently developed into blood poison which caused death. He was born in Carroll county, Ohio 11 May 1844. At age of 35 he moved his family to West Virginia, at which place they lived about fifteen years, and then moved to Jonesboro, Ind. Survived by widow and seven children, all of whom live here except a daughter in St. Louis and another daughter in Elwood and one son in Ohio. 03/31/1909 - The funeral services of William Morris TELFER were conducted this afternoon at the M. F. church by the pastor, Rev. W. S.
