Obit of Frances Ann Worth Dated in ink as Nov 12, 1955. Newspaper unknown but probably Johnston City or Marion newspapers Funeral Rites Yesterday for Frances Ann Worth Mrs. Frances Ann Worth, 80, died Sunday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray Murrah, 512 W. 5th Street. She had been ill several months. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Murman and Wilson funeral home by Rev. John Harriss of Carbondale. Burial was in the cemetery at Whiteash. Mrs. Worth was born in England in 1875 to Thomas Wardel and Ann Liddle. She had lived in and near Johnston City the past 45 years. She was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church of Marion. Her husband, Charles Worth died in 1934. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Robert Mobray, Mrs. William Andrew, Mrs. Ray Murrah, and Mrs. Melvin Singer all of this city; a son Tom worth of this city; and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Worth, of route one; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
