The Paxton [IL] Weekly Record June 6, 1872
James Tollworthy, one of the business men of Wilmington, accidentally shot 
himself near that town on the 25th. He was riding with his family, and in 
placing his gun on the bottom of the wagon, it was by some means discharged, 
the shot taking effect in his side, and causing death in a few minutes.
