Obit: IDA M. JAMESON Ida M. Jameson, 80 of 829 Texas died 9:50 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 1980 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. she had been a patient since August 12. Mrs. Jameson, a 50 year Resident of Texas Street was a housewife. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church and the Guild of the Church. Her hobby was music. Born Feb. 2, 1900 in Danville, she was the daughter of Solomon and Lucy Buck Lappin. On March 5, 1917 in Danville she married James Jameson. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Nick J. and William W., both of Danville. Three daughters, Dorothy Ross and Mary Phillips both of Danville and Helen Kobosky of Decatur, Il. A brother Raymond Lappin of Danville, a sister Mae Hinton of Detroit Mi. 11 granchildren, 19 great grand children , and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother and two grandchildren. Services will be at 1:00 P.M. at Holy Trinity Church where the body will be taken one hour prior to the services. The Rev. Brian Muller will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
