Born June 27, 1888, in Springfield. Entered service June 18, 1918. Received his training at Fort Sams, Texas, Camp Booie, Dallas, Texas, and Kelly Field, Texas. Was at Camp Booie when the Armistice was signed. Discharged June 30, 1919.
