Obituary for Mr J. B. Hamalle, LaSalle County, Illinois Mr. J. B. Hamalle, one of the oldest residents of this city, died at this residence on the west side on Wednesday evening of general complaint, aged about 73 years. Mr. Hamalle's first business venture in the city was the opening of a candy and fruit store on La Salle street, where H. J. Ginnin's establishment now stands, and later he moved to the west side, where he conducted a grocery store for many years, finally selling out to his son, J. L., and retired from business. He leaves three sons and two daughters.
