Obit: Mrs. Wilma Cowan Alvin, Ill. Mrs. Wilma Blanche Cowan, 82, of Alvin route 1, died at 4 a.m. today (oct. 27, 1976) at Lakeview Medical Center in Danville, Ill. she had been a patient since sunday and ill for two years. Born Aug. 30, 1894 in Salem, Ind., She was the daughter of Frank and Arabelle Wilson Briscoe. She was married to Richard Cowan on Oct. 3, 1914. He died in 1960 . Survivors inclue a son, Lester of Alvin route 1; a granddaughter, Mrs. LaVonne Boudouris of Browns Valley, Ind.; a grandson Richard of Alvin; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Alvin Christian Church, with Paul Ziebert and Ernie Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery at Milford.
