HANSEN Visitation for Betty V. Hansen, 82, of Onarga will be held today (Wednesday) Feb. 8, from 5:00 to 8 P.M. at the Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., on Thurs., February 9, 2006, with visitation one hour prior at the Redenius Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev, Neil Larimore. Burial will be at the Gilman Cemetery. Mrs. Hansen died at 7:25 p.m. on Mon., February 6, 2006, at the Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka following a short illness. She was born on April 24, 1923 in Rossville to Clarence Vliet & Lucia Green. She married Franklin Mulligan in 1942. She later married Adolph Hansen in 1947. Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Sharon Mulligan of Onarga, four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Gloria Goldenstein of Onarga, one brother, Bob Green of Watseka, and Tracy Stewart of Allenhurst, Georgia. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Adolph and one son, Randy Mulligan. Mrs. Hansen was raised and attended the Rossville schools. She moved to Onarga when she was eighteen. Other places of residence in her life were Chicago and Tennessee. Mrs. Hansen was of the Lutheran faith. She worked in restaurants and she worked for the Springville, Tennessee school district. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, watching T. V. and her grandchildren.
