Author: History Grundy County 1882

Olie Osmonson, farmer, P. O. Morris, was born in Otter Creek Township, La 
Salle Co., Ill., December 1, 1852. His parents had two children, of whom he 
was the younger. Mr. Osmonson received his education in the normal school at 
Morris, Ill. He was married in Saratoga Township January 27, 1878, to Maggie 
E. Craig, who was born June 25, 1858, in Lisbon, Kendall County. Mrs. 
Osmonson's father, Samuel Craig, was born November 7, 1824, in County Antrim, 
Ireland. Her mother was born in Oneida County, N. Y., May 22, 1833. Mr. and 
Mrs. Osmonson are members of the Lutheran Church. Mr. Osmonson votes the 
Republican ticket.
