Her husband David died on Octover 22, 1918 of severe pneumonia caused by the Spanish Influenza. On March 24, 1923, she married another recently discharged US Army soldier, at Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Louis Benjamin Striebel. Louis Striebel perished in Indianapolis Indiana in December 1968. Louis and Nannette, are buried together at Plot: Section 234, Lot 108 Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.
